1. Ordering information on STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese

STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese Upgrade:

Customers who own STEP 7 V3.x, V4.x, V5.0, V5.1, V5.2, V5.3 or V5.4 already, can purchase an upgrade. The precondition for the installation of the upgrade package is a valid license for STEP 7 V3.x, V4.x, V5.0, V5.1, V5.2, V5.3 or V5.4.
 

General:

STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese is supplied on DVD, the license key on a USB stick. STEP 7 Chinese supports Chinese and English.

When changing from STEP 7 in five languages to STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese, the following should be noted:

Before you install STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese, STEP 7 and other installed option packages must be uninstalled. After the installation of STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese any required option packages in Chinese and English can be installed as usual. Option packages that are not available in Chinese can only be run in English. There is no difference between the license of STEP 7 V5.5 in five languages and that of STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese.

(ISO32000-1:2008 PDF).

In addition to STEP 7, the STEP 7 DVD also contains the following programs with their own setup in the directory CD2\Optional Components:

4. STEP 7 V5.4 Chinese to be phased out

Together with this delivery release of STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese, STEP 7 V5.4 Chinese will be declared a mature product. This means that the affected items will be deleted from the catalog, but remain available for ordering for approx. one more year:

5. STEP 7 V5.3 - Product discontinuation

Together with this delivery release of STEP 7 V5.5 Chinese, the supply of STEP 7 V5.3 Chinese will be discontinued; this means that STEP 7 V5.3 Chinese will cease to be available effective end of Nov. 2010. The following items are affected by this measure:
