Description:
If you have stored a project with WinCC flexible 2008 + SP1 (Service Pack 1), when you migrate it into STEP 7 Basic V10.5, you get the following error message:

• Migration only supports projects that have been created with WinCC flexible 2007 or 2008.

You cannot migrate a project created or stored with WinCC flexible 2008 + SP1 into STEP 7 Basic V10.5.

Remedy:
Save the project in WinCC flexible 2008 SP1 as version "WinCC flexible 2007" or "WinCC flexible 2008" (without SP1). Then you will be able to migrate your project.

Pay attention also to the operator panel types supported in WinCC flexible V10.5. More information on this is available in the Online Help under:

• "Basic principles of migration".

If you have configured your project with an operator panel type that WinCC flexible V10.5 does not support, you cannot migrate the project.
